Randy Moss is an American retired professional football player who has a net worth of twenty five million dollars. Randy Gene Moss came into this world in Rand, West Virginia in February 1977. He attended DuPont High School where he excelled in football, baseball, basketball, and monitor and also was named by Parade magazine as 1 of the fifty best high school players of all time. On the football field, Moss led the DuPont Panthers to back-to-back state championships in 1992 and 1993. He was a star at wide receiver, but also had defensive back, returned punts and kickoffs, moreover was the team's punter and kicker. In 1994, he was honored with the Kennedy Award as the West Virginia Football Player of the entire year. With DuPont, Moss was also called the West Virginia Player of the entire year for basketball two times. On March twenty three, 1995, Moss backed a friend in a hallway fight against a white-colored pupil that had allegedly used racist comments to Randy's friend. Even thought it was later decreased to a misdemeanor, moss was initially charged with a felony for kicking the pupil. On August one, 1995, Moss pled guilty to 2 counts of misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to thirty days behind bars in the South Central Regional Jail in Charleston, West Virginia. He served three days in jail starting the evening and would be expected to serve the remaining twenty seven times inside the next eighteen months, after he completed the freshman season of his in college. He was expelled from the college and also finished the education of his in an alternative school known as Babell Alternative School. He was denied by Notre Dame following his racially charged fight in high school. Even thought was dismissed for testing positive for marijuana, he then went to Florida State. He ended up playing for Marshall Faculty, where he was a First team All American two times and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award and Paul Warfield Trophy in 1997. Moss was selected #21 by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1998 NFL Draft. He had with the Vikings for 7 months and was traded to the Oakland Raiders. He was later traded to the new England Patriots. He returned to Minnesota and then had for the Tennessee Titans as well as San Francisco 49ers. Throughout his fourteen months he set records for NFL single season touchdown receptions (twenty three), NFL single season touchdown receptions for a rookie (seventeen), and finished second on NFL all time typical seasons touchdown receptions with 156. An AFC was won by moss and an NFC Championship. He was a 7 time Pro Bowler and one time Pro Bowl MVP. He was a 4 time AP First Team All Pro selection and a one time NFC Player of the entire year.
